Oliver's jaw tightened, his expression closing a little to try and hide what was going through his head. Immortal? Eternally young? Okay, well that was brilliant for a God and probably for J-S as well, but he couldn't help but wonder where it left him. He didn't want to be the creepy forty, fifty, sixty year old bloke dating the teenager. Not that he was thinking that far into the future, but it still managed to hang over his head.
After all, he was just a normal British bloke who liked Star Wars, Football and a decent pint. J-S had a God in him and a supply of immortality apples. How long would it be before he got bored of him and found someone who could match the fantastical drama of his life?
He didn't voice any of this, of course, but remained carefully silent as they crossed the road.
"Want to walk through the park?" he offered vaguely, before finally taking a breath and forcing himself to look back down at the dark haired boy holding his hand. "You know you can stay at mine whenever?"
