It was hard not to relax with the attention that Desponia gave, she had that effect sometimes. Her eyes closed half way before blinking tightly as she regained herself. "There is nothing to argue, Daughter."
Tang. Demeter wasn't sure she was complimented by the comment. "And you were merely wanting company?" she asked, a little suspicious but not entirely off-putting. She was fond of her daughter and held her in high esteem- their relationship was unique to her.
"You look it," she told her with a brow up. "Where do you stay?" The question was knowing, the more she spoke the more convinced Demeter was that her children did not have a home.
