She took the water but didn't drink from it. Instead she went over the words that just blurted out of her mouth. Lydia kept forgetting that not everyone got what was going on. Not everyone was a god or goddess, or a mortal like her wrapped up in all their stupid drama. Lydia took a swig of the water and wiped her hand across her mouth to collect the stray droplets of water on her upper lip.
"He..uh.. well he's just, he thinks he's a god, is all. You know, like a god complex? I don't know. Whatever," she handed back the water and looked up at him. "No offense to dudes but I might look into being a lesbian or something after all of this."
