Chewing on her lower lip, she turned towards him as he dropped his arm, suddenly missing the warmth and the closeness. Which was strange. She listened to his reasoning, chuckling a little, before she ran her fingers through her hair, pushing it back from her cheek.
"I'm just surprised because, well...you're smart. The stoner kids back in high school were all...slackers and kinda..." She hesitated, making a face. "They didn't really care about anything. You seem like you do. And I know you're super smart, because you remember, like, everything. Isn't it dangerous just to have? It's illegal." Boy, she really was sheltered, wasn't she?
