Who: Rose and Mal What: After karaoke fun! Where: Starlight Diner When: Friday, Late Night
Tonight's karaoke was probably the most fun that Rose'd had since moving to New York City. They'd changed up the night, choosing instead to go on a Friday, leaving Sunday to be forsaken with the rest of the lame days of the week. In all actuality, it'd just worked well this way. No one had late practice or a show. They'd gotten up and partied, had a lot of fun, singing everything from Cher to Elvis to Johnny Cash.
A smaller group had split off from the others and were now at the Starlight Diner, ordering french fries and grilled cheese sandwiches and malts, though none of them ever ate like this on the norm. Rose was giggling, shaking her head and vehemently protesting.
"No, no way. There's not enough money in the world to get me to say that word!" she laughed, shaking her head, her cheeks as pink as her shirt. She looked to Mal for help, laughing again.
