"I know." She took a deep breath and blew it out, reaching up to palm her hands over her face. "I know. This is just...yeah." This moment was the worst. Officially.
She listened to his reasons, wanting to punch Neptune again for being a dick. She didn't like being used to prove a point. Her ego was soothed, though, by Reed flattering her, but she still wanted to give the god a piece of her mind.
"Tell Neptune that I don't appreciate being used to make a point. You're my friend. I agreed to let Bast have her fun. I took over when Neptune pushed you forward and it was a fight. I just didn't want Bast to take advantage of the situation...but maybe I should have." She squeezed her hand over her forehead and ran it back over her mussed up hair, sliding her fingers through it. "Thank you, Reed. I know this isn't your fault. I wish I could say that it wasn't a big deal, but...it could cause a lot of problems and that makes it a big deal. I would beg you not to talk about this to anyone, but...Neptune clearly can't be trusted to remember that people aren't toys to be played with."
