Reed stayed where he was, not getting any closer when she put her hands out. "You're not the only one who kept going." If anything, Reed was to blame, because he was the one who pushed forward right after they were both put back in charge. He could have stopped. He should have stopped.
Shrugging, Reed was at a loss. "I don't know.. I guess.. to prove a point. He could tell I was enjoying myself. He said something about love and desire being two different things, and they are. He's right. I can't say I don't desire you. You're beautiful and interesting from what I can tell in the little time we've gotten to know each other. And you're nice.." He sighed though.
