"Of course." She inclined her head again, deferring to his decisions. It was his vessel and he had a right to make whatever decision he wanted. She knew that. He was a God as she was a Goddess.
When he pulled away so completely, Bast blinked at the change and then slipped back to let Miri take control. It wasn't nearly so quick and she blinked a couple of times, as if waking up, before her brows furrowed. "Oh my god, are they really all on that again?" She frowned, feeling uncomfortable. Reaching for her food, she picked up a pair of chopsticks. Bast might not be hungry, but suddenly, she felt starved. And she loved Chinese food.
"You do care. If you didn't, you wouldn't sound like that. She might not know how to fix you and Lydia, but...maybe just talk to her? I mean, I understand if she can't handle the whole...you having a really horny god inside of you who likes to come out and play havoc with your body, but..." She sighed, opening one of the boxes and taking a bite of some chicken. After a moment of chewing, swallowing, she spoke again, turning to face him. "I'm sorry. Bast is really insistent. I think it's her whole...deal." She sighed, her shoulders drooping. Her problem stemmed from the fact that Reed wasn't happy about his situation. She liked him, yes, but she wasn't about to agree to some god on goddess action, not at the cost of his happiness.
