Our sons are rather foolish things, aren't they? I hope yours is mending well, mine is missing, though I assume because he fears my punishment. I want to find him before the wrong person does.

I would rather mine mended slower; perhaps the lesson might be more sticking that way. Unfortunately, he has Iounn's apples to speed things along. If you find any comfort in it, I can feel that he lives, and without fear of mortal peril.

I am glad he lives, but I would prefer him to return home. I do not like being so feared by my child. I'm not sure what he thinks I would do to him.

He was raised by a violent surrogate. I can imagine well, what he believes appropriate paternal retribution to be.

I would never strike my child. I was just going to yell a bit until he took off.

And did you even reach the yelling portion? I was under the impression you hadn't even had the chance to go that far.

I know it grieves you, Loki, but my conversation with Fenrir was not meant to raise his blood. I believe that, on occasion, it is only in the heat of the moment when calm and logic descends upon one. I pray I have not exacerbated an existing issue. I took what I thought were reasonable measures with Bragi, but I did not anticipate the rashness of his vessel.

No, he gave me no opportunity to react at all he only ran. It hurts me to know he fears me so.

I know you want to give my son the benefit of the doubt that he can be rational, but that is not the case. He is so blinded by anger that he can scarcely see the good around him. He will relax that only for Hel and myself, the Fenrir I see is kind and affectionate. I only need more time to try to work him through his rage.
