Whatever it was, or whatever he was capable of doing, Abigail immediately felt a sense of ease as Eros approached. She felt even better when he spoke. There was a calming air and a sense of security that settled over her, and Abigail responded with a bright smile. "Not really. I just got here a few minutes before you did. I ordered some tea." Making a gesture to the teapot that was still hot to the touch and seeping the tea inside, she sat back against the booth cushion as she continued to unwind.
"I really appreciate you meeting with me." Letting out a long sigh, her shoulders slumped a bit as she rested her arms against the table. "I just don't know what to do. I mean, I've done some reading so I could try and understand her a bit better, but it's just so hard." Reaching for the small tea cup she had prepared just before he had arrived, Abigail lifted it to take a drink, but paused. "I mean, I understand that this is new for her, too. It's new for everyone." She finally took a sip of the tea and set the cup down with another exasperated sigh.
"I just want to make her understand that there are things that aren't accepted today like they may have been for her. Is that wrong?"
