"We may need you to give blood, we'll do a test to see if you're a match, but Ciaran's lost a dangerous amount, that's why his heart stopped. His blood pressure's dropping still, if he goes into cardiac arrest again, it's going to be harder to bring him back," Stanley said, putting a hand on the wall as Wendy took a sharp corner. She was getting them there fast, if anyone could do that, it was Wendy.
"I have a niece who's autistic, I know how scared she gets being alone, I don't know when Ciaran will wake up, or what they'll want to do, but I'm sure they'll let you be close to him. If you do the transfusion, you'll get to be with him," Stanley said to him. "You're not going to want to see him when they work on him...but I'll make sure everyone knows so you can be there as soon as possible, alright? I don't think he needs to suffer any more than he already has."
As they pulled into the hospital bay, he got up, getting ready to move with Ciaran.
"Come with me, stick close until they take him," he said, turning to the doors as Wendy opened them, moving to get Ciaran inside as fast as he could.
