"Then maybe just the blue and green, I think I like those better, I have to look at them though," Ciaran said, unaware that Reed had stopped behind him as he got to the opposite curb in time for the hand to stop flashing. "Maybe when I sell my art, I can buy a lot more...I don't know, is my art selling for enough to buy hoodies?"
When Reed didn't answer, Ciaran stopped, turning all the way around in a search for his brother. When he couldn't be found, either next to him, or anywhere near him, he began to panic.
"REED!!" Ciaran shouted, his hands moving up to grasp his neck tightly as he moved back through the crowd, looking for his brother. "REED!!!"
He made it back to the curb, so frantic at that point that he wouldn't have seen his brother a few feet away, much less on the other side of the road. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know where Reed was, he wanted his brother.
