Anye hadn't expected an honest answer, and yet she was still somehow disappointed. She hid it effortlessly, but it was another chink in her mental armor. She wasn't entirely sure what she was gonna do when that armor finally gave way, but she knew the day was fast approaching.
"Sleep where?" she pressed, raising an eyebrow. "You already told me you didn't intend on going home until Monday," she reminded him. Her tone wasn't harsh or unkind, just curious. Maybe a little teasing. She still didn't expect an honest answer, so she couldn't have honestly said why she was pressing him about it. She supposed she just wanted to be able to say she'd given him every opportunity to tell her before she finally snapped and confronted him. Someday she would. She didn't know what she was going to do, but she knew it was a job she'd do thoroughly and ruthlessly if necessary. "You got a new someone you're hiding from me? Not that I know why you would. I've never traumatized any of them."
