Anye grinned, but didn't feel right about commenting on it. After all, she'd been raised in a very nice house. She and her brothers had never had to share a room, everyone had their own space... hell, they'd even had a pool. Anye had never had to struggle financially in her whole life. She'd had a more than adequate college fund to cover what her scholarships didn't, and she'd never moved out of her parents house until her awakening, and her parents hadn't minded at all. By that point they'd been in their globetrotting second honeymoon days, anyway. The point was, Anye had learned about privilege at a very young age, and almost immediately after had begun to feel guilty about it. Sometimes twinges of it still came up.
"See?" she said. "Nothing to worry about. The house is big enough that we may never even cross paths with her." Though she did make a mental note to text Bekah if they didn't, and at least warn her that she had a friend over so she and Nick didn't run into each other in the night and each have mini heart attacks. Or not so mini.
