There was always little fanfare before one of these outings. Bellatrix assumed it had a lot to do with Rodolphus and his penchant for withholding information; it only added to the mystery if she was forced to let him be the one directing them to their destination.
When they ended up in an alley somewhere it was hardly surprising, the best sorts of fun usually started in the worst sorts of places. As Rodolphus countered her parting insult to his brother with one to her sisters, Bellatrix didn't look particularly perturbed. "I'm already well aware of the failings of my siblings," she reminded him, her tone indifferent. Her button was not so easily pressed when it came to her family.
The evening's plans originally not in her cards, whilst Rodolphus adorned himself with the familiar hood, Bellatrix herself lacked any means to disguise her appearance. It wasn't often that she really bothered in any case, why should she hide herself? She was the one doing the world a favour.
