"It's the groom's job to pay for the wedding. If I had family it'd be their job traditionally." He smirked and kept walking. He'd gotten scars as well, including the a long slash mark across his abdomen going from the left side of his waist to his right shoulder. It looked like he'd been cut with a sword. It was from a wire snapping back just the right way and slicing him.
"That's not my proposal. It's what I call Stark repellent. He's a regular friggin Don Juan. I gotta get cleaned up when we get there." Getting to his room he opened the door and walked her in. It was plain, simple, and definitely Adrian.
The only belongings he had here were a framed picture of the two of them and his journal. The picture was worn significantly and there was blood on the top right corner from an injury he recently sustained. He walked into the bathroom to shower just long enough to leave his journal unattended. A tech based lock held it shut, one she made. He trusted her tech with his life just like he trusted her with his life.
The journal contained his innermost thoughts, thoughts that revolved around her and how it killed him more being away from her than anything HYDRA did to him. He counted the days since he'd last been with her and every day his resolve stayed strong, he had absolute faith she'd find him.
After getting pants on he came back out of the bathroom shirtless and sat on the bed. The abdominal scar had him self conscious but he had to wash some shirts. There was no way in hell he was hiding it.
"Aria, we'll fix this. Things may never be the same so let's make them better than before. Just tell me what you want, what you need."
