Thor had been dividing his time between the Avengers and the medical practice of his mortal identity, Donald Blake. If he wasn't on a mission he was walking around as the good doctor. As Doctor Blake he walked with a limp and used a cane that was actually the disguised Mjolnir. He sat on the front steps of the mansion in a pair of khaki pants, white dress shirt and tennis shoes, reddish brown messy hair and a pair of eyeglasses. He looked much too frail for people to even suspect he was Thor and as Donald Blake he was almost a foot shorter.
Thor had given a card to Wanda and Pietro Maximoff in case they needed asylum, making sure they knew he'd help them if they had nowhere else to go. The card had no tracking device in or on it, it was a simple paper card with the address of the Avengers mansion and the name Thor Odinson on it. The Asgardian didn't have a cell phone but Doctor Blake had to carry one. The card had the landline phone number for the mansion on it.
Thor was not home according to the A.I. Jarvis but when Doctor Blake saw the two mutants he'd tell them "I'm Donald Blake, are you the people Thor has been hoping to see? He has been saying nothing but good things about you." He had his keycard on him for gaining entry to the mansion and waited to see how they reacted to him. In broad daylight he wouldn't be able to change into Thor, but he was guessing that the Scarlet Witch would suspect that magic obscured the true identity of the good doctor. His mannerisms were of a kind but frail man, meek and timid but with keen senses and passively observant of his surroundings.
