Sally wiped her tears away with the sleeve of her shirt and gave light sniffles as she sat in the dark room she had been confined to for what felt like an eternity since there was that attack on the school. Skids had awoke during the panic and was helping get all the kids to the danger room, she had lowered her shield in order to help a younger student who had hid under a bed. After she managed to get to someone that was running in the direction of the danger room, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder blade and then darkness.
Skids had come to a long time later and found herself in a dark room that smelled horrible, like a musky, old boot. She had tried to will her shield up but it was no use, she had been trying every chance she got to make it less dark in there, there was only a dim light outside the room that let her see a little of her cell. Sally hated the dark, it was one of her biggest fears, even though she practically lived in it for her whole life.
Her sniffled were drowned out by footsteps that seemed to grow closer to her room, she quickly got herself together by wiping her face clean and putting on her tough exterior as her door knob creaked and turned. The door opened and Sally slowly crawled to the light only to stammer back as a large body was thrown into her room with her. Her blue eyes focused on the familiar outline of the body that laid face down on the ground. She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the door closing, the young blonde jumped up and raced to the door, only to have it slammed shut and her run into it. Sally pounded on the door with all her might until her hand felt like something was broken. "LET ME GO!" She shouted a few times before realizing it was no use.
The short X-Men, slowly turned back to the body on the ground, it was large, too big to be female. She made her way to the body, hoping it wasn't a dead one. "Please don't be dead." Her soft voice rang out in the quiet. She bent down on her knees and placed a hand on the body, she felt their back move so they had to be alive. She rolled the stranger over, placed his head on her lap and shook him lightly before her eyes adjusted to the dimness and realized that this was the guy that had caused that fight with Alex. Sally gasped lightly, out of all the mutants in the world why did she have to get pinned up with this giant idiot?
