Brunhilde lifted an eyebrow at the sudden summons by Thor, but finished her swallow of wine with a nod. She stood and bowed deeply to the head of the table and the old man armored in gold.
Looking out at the bleak horizon, she sighed lowly and spoke before Thor did. An alarming gesture to do so, but she figured she was allowed to be rusty on court etiquette. "We do not have much time, milord, your father wanes. I will find and send for Lady Freyja, to be with him, before I set for the walls." She paused, considering and added calmly. "There is a garrison shed in the highest lookout of the Western perimeter, abandoned, even before I left, for closer rooming near the Golden City. I shall station out there."
