With a rather solemn nod, she turned to head out of the rubble and towards the car she was driving. She hadn't even thought over the dirt. She wasn't used to worrying over what others thought and what might potentially be embarrassing.
"I look?" Stopping she looked down at herself. "I had assumed these were typical attire for a girl my age. I kept the boots. Footwear for girls my age is inappropriate for comfort or performance."
Laura glanced back up. If she could have worn clothing that she was more comfortable in she would have. Even if it seemed unseemly. "That is my job now. To protect others. That is what they said. It was never my mission to destroy others. Only the target. If the target had it's own security implemented it might become necessary to involve or destroy them as well."
