Sally gave the woman a questioning look as she spoke, this lady spoke oddly, like she wasn't familiar with appropriate word placement and usage. The blonde looked at herself and then back to the woman as she spoke again. "I can't turn it off." She replied, explaining her force field. "I wish I could maybe then I'll appear normal." Her voice dropped to an even sadder low pitch as she looked away from the woman for a moment, to the ground as if lost in her own thoughts. Sally had a lump in her throat that she tried to swallow, so she could try and actually talk without bursting into tears.
When the stranger spoke again, Sally gave her an odd, quizzical look. She came her ground and replied, "I'm not broken. I..." She was trying to be tough enough to where this person wouldn't see just how weak she was, but Sally was horrible at lying, but wouldn't just spill her guts to a stranger, she couldn't even say her sentence because she knew she was broken in a sense of the word. Her blue eyes stayed on the woman, in a way to show she wasn't lying as she tried to speak again. "It's not your concern. If you are going to try and kill me, you can do just that, try but you won't succeed, my ability protects me. But no matter what, I won't fight. I don't fight." Sally said attempting to sound brave and strong.
