Her skittish behavior was not helping. If anything it only made X- Laura worry more. She knew how to gain people's trust, how to get people close enough to kill. Playing the helpless little girl was a popular and quick one.
Her hands flexed at her sides, blades itching, but she kept her eyes on the girl. She had no way of gauging if emotions were true or not so took most things as they came and never fully believed what people said or did. Always be aware of another motive. "If you do not wish to fight, you should not draw attention to yourself. Or raise weapons."
Seemed logical to her. Yet, the girl was still whining, and crying. Laura did not step closer. She would not assume anyone helpless unless she was proven unconscious, and even then she knew that you could lower your own heart rate to fake it. If anything she truly hoped the girl was not this weak. She would never survive.
Her lips tugged into a frown, her brow furrowing slightly. "Your face is still leaking. Are you broken?"
