mutantprof Charles took a stroll past his gate overlooking his vineyard. He found his days to be quite peaceful. There were flashes of memory. There was a shadow of overwhelming darkness that engulfed everything around him. He shook it off as he washed his hands and turned the knob on the hose outside. Charles then felt something. Something familiar. He looked up to see a bright light at first. like another sun that landed on top of his home. but as the light faded. Did he see someone...his daughter? He felt a strong familiar bond with this woman. It slowly dawned on him in his scattered psyche that this...was his daughter ceceylla. cleaning his hands on a towel Charles walked up the walkway to his daughter. "Cece! Welcome home."
spirit_speaker Time passed differently where the telepath's consciousness was. Though it was actually that time had dissipated. Time was endless, and the experience was as moments. Weaved in a way that those bound to pasts and futures would likely not understand. The endless hours that Scott spent beside her, Ceceylla didn't even notice. Though, what the woman did sense. The calming presence of Scott. Of course, also felt his worry and fear.
The Phoenix had been that which led Ceceylla to Charles. The sense of Scott all around her, though. It'd take time to learn the ability to coexist in both moments, overlapping – the moments just being so. In that same manner, Ceceylla felt the serenity of Charles. Then, slight curiosity as the Phoenix's light faded.
The woman smiled, finding herself clocked in a white suit that only vaguely was recognizable as X-Men. The clasp securing the beautiful cloak. It was the signet of the Xmen, that classically recognizable symbol. Hearing Charles' voice was felt with wonderful joy. Oh, how she'd missed it. Approaching her mentor, she smiled softly noting the scattered mind. "Ello, Charles." Noting with a slight nod, "this place is beautiful, always knew you had the blessing of a green thumb."
mutantprof He held her close, the daughter he always wanted. "My dear it's so good to see you." He looked at his vineyard. "Ah yes, Well it's a work in progress." He offered a chair for her. "Would you like some?" He offered a glass of wine. Smiling at her. "What brings you home."
spirit_speaker Ceceylla sat beside Charles, almost seeming to be mesmerized at his mere words and presence. And, of course, that was what it was. It's one thing to drift into an individual's mind, but the place she found the professor in was something entirely different. “Yes, it's a real gift to be able to visit and see you. “CeCe knew the place in which the telepath found Charles in, was an etheric pocket. Time wasn’t a real aspect of the passing moments. And certainly, he probably had no idea it was where he actually was. Ceceylla loved, so very much, the place his soul built for him to exist here. It was beautiful. Certainly, a place that brought him serenity.
“ ‘Ell it's amazing, nonetheless.” Speaking of the vineyard, of course. Smiling softly, “Almost as amazing as you, my very dear professor.” Nodding slightly, speaking of the offered wine. “I’d love some.” “Well, I’ve missed you greatly. Just as all of us have.” A hint of sadness is seen in her gaze for a moment. “Scott ... He misses you. More than words could ever really, properly describe. It's your wisdom, and the company that I think he misses most. He’s absolutely brilliant, but” Frowning, “He doesn’t trust himself, and He fears letting you down.”
mutantprof Charles was slowly thinking to himself. shadows almost like a dream. "Scott." He spoke. "I-I know Scott. I raised him. him and his brother. Both children. one of my best students aside from you." He spoke with a sense of affection and tenderness. He took Cece's hand. "What happened...to my students...to everyone?" He asked, almost losing a bit of himself, there was darkness now overtaking the skies. A remnant of Ensaba nur.
