Dane was giving an all-access pass to every sterling site. Security gave him the walk through a few people came in and ripped open the safe and took a bunch of Victor's tech. He was going to be pissed. He hoped that he wouldn't take it out on him during their training session. He took his phone and called him. Hey Mr. Price. We got a problem...Someone...or group...broke into your manhattan facility. you might wanna cross the pond. He put the phone in his pocket after leaving the message.

Price responded to the message with ”I will be there in an hour. Nobody enters or leaves the facility until I get there.” After a hypersonic flight Victor seemingly appeared out of thin air in the Uther, the dark cloaked suit of armor both dignified and menacing at the same time as baleful green light peered out from beneath the hood from the utter darkness. Friday, put all other facilities on high alert, triple the security detail in every location and lock down the Estate. And please inform Mister Gibson that I will not be home for a few days. Walking into the vault, Price surveyed the damage and took stock of what was taken when he saw Dane, Price was pissed alright as he clenched his fist so hard the liquid metal groaned but he was not mad at Whitman.

Whoever did this was able to bypass my security system, if you hadn’t called me I would have likely not been aware of the theft until morning if not later. Thank you. The Manhattan facility housed a prototype Megazeta emitter but it wouldn’t do the thieves any good without components he kept in separate locations - Price didn’t keep all the parts of his nasty toys in one place, he wasn’t stupid. Opening his faceplate he took a deep breath and projected the image of the device from a hologram projector in his palm. “This is CALIBURN, a prototype Megazeta particle cannon I designed to crack large scale energy shields. You’ve seen what my suit can fire from the hands, imagine amplifying that firepower ten thousandfold and you have a general idea of what CALIBURN can do. I only stored the emitter here, the cannon housing, Mega-Cores and Macro Accelerator are all in different locations as a precaution. The emitter itself is harmless without enough Zeta particles but we need to get it back as soon as possible.”

Dane almost got dizzy at all the fancy toys, alot of fancy stuff. "Well, I mean if they stole from you. whoever did had the right amount of resoruces to get into your stuff." Dane stood behind his sword teacher in his armor. "I can bring up the cameras. If you want?" He moved over to the computer screen and typed up the different windows. He saw six people pull up but then the screen goes black. only to reappear the image of the damaged facility. "They blacked us out."

Victor began to view the footage and with a few movements of his fingers a series of holoscreens appeared around him where he began to analyze the security feeds and all he got was a few seconds more of video. “I have a bad feeling about this. I couldn’t get a visual ID on any of them, almost like they were concealing themself from my security tech.” Price had been training Dane to master his blade so he could master his powers and so far it’d been one of the highlights of his career and time as a Knight of the Round Table.

“In the wrong hands, CALIBURN could level an entire city… any city on Earth could be erased down to ground level like it was never there. It is by far the most powerful weapon I have ever created by several orders of magnitude.” They had to keep the rest of the machine out of the hands of whoever stole the emitter - Zeta energy was non-radioactive but that was little consolation if it scathed and scoured a major population center from the face of the Earth.

“We need to be ready for their next move. I guarantee they will strike again. To that end, I’m relocating the remaining components to the most secure facility I have.” He was going to move the cannon housing, macro accelerator and mega-cores to his home, one of the three most heavily defended, armed and armored structures in the world rivaling even Latveria’s Castle Doomstadt, the Red Skull’s Schwartzstadt and Wakanda’s royal palace. Colossal coastal batteries, excessive anti air, ground and oceanic weapons, layers of strong energy shields and thousands of dagger drones made it tantamount to suicide trying to attack or sneak into the fortress Victor called his familial home. Vic didn’t say anything to Dane about it but he was going to lay a trap for these six sinister shadows.

	dane kept close behind him. "Right so we are moving all your stuff. How do we know they're not coming? how do we know they're going to go again?" He asked keeping close to him as other employees walked around the rubble. "they also hit Starks assets too." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Victor simply answered Dane’s concerns with “I will contact Stark in the morning. As far as this goes, keep it between us for now. CALIBURN was designed for SWORD so I need to contact both their director and the head of SHIELD soon to inform them of the situation and go from there.”

He tapped the holo keypad coming from his gauntlet to set his reminders to make the calls, FRIDAY was as advanced as Jarvis but he didn’t want to risk overtaxing her or worse, risk a security breach as they didn’t know how deep the problems ran. He also had the SilverStark Expo as he was calling it to prepare for and this meant he needed to make a few more calls than he originally intended to. “Mister Whitman I have an additional job I wish to hire you for, at double your standard pay. We can discuss it after our morning lessons over some tea and biscuits.”

“I need additional security for the upcoming Sterling/Stark Expo and I would like to officially hire you, Barton and maybe another. I cannot allow this to slow the wheels of progress because if I drop out, they win and I’ve been looking forward to this for two years. In fact there are a number of new projects I’m undertaking both myself and in collaboration with the Avengers. And speaking of the Avengers, at some point soon I would like to appoint you as my liaison to them, it’d be a paid assignment of course, with a number of additional assets I would be providing you, of course. In fact I will be showing you said asset today when we leave before your training session.” Vic was looking forward to the look on Whitman’s face when he saw his new toy.

Price knew Dane was concerned but he put a hand on his shoulder. “I’m searching while we speak. I’ve deployed cloaked seeker drones to look for clues and to survey in and around my other facilities. As soon as they make a move, I’ll know.” Price detected Iron Legionnaires landing on site along with a Quinjet he’d called for. “Our ride is here, let’s go. We have a lot to do today.” Walking out to the aircraft with his armor shifting back into place, he walked into the back and up to the pilot’s seat passing a squad of Sterling security he’d had flown in to reinforce the site. FRIDAY, deploy all available security drones at all sites and double the security detail at all sites. If anything happens I want to be informed immediately.

Looking back to talk to Dane he waved for him to hurry up. We’re going to Yonkers, it's about an eight and a half minute flight but I think you’ll like what’s waiting there.

Dane nodded and followed the billionaire to his personal jet. while all the workers were moving and getting the inventory done. Dane nodded. "you mean the expo? this is the first time it goes global. It's always been in the states now it's going to Europe. Between the both of you?" He kept fallowing close to him keeping his sword at his side. "I'll do whatever you need."

Victor nodded in acknowledgement about the expo “Yes, this will be the first time I’ve debuted flagship tech in the US, and Stark’s first such marketed campaign in the United Kingdom. We’ve each had our own individual expos in our home countries but doing this one together will expand viewership and get our inventions out there much farther than ever before. And Stark and I both benefit from having Avengers at the events.” Stepping off the Quinjet it powered down and as he was walking past Dane his suit turned to liquid recessing to the small of his back leaving him in a sharp black suit with Italian leather shoes.

They were at an empty racetrack with a pair of cars underneath black silk cloths with security guards in black suits and sunglasses watching over the vehicles and keeping them under wraps. “Well at the moment, what I need you to do…” Walking between the cars the guards moved away as Vic pulled the covers off revealing two brand new custom tuned Sterling Argentas - one black with a gold trimmed interior and the other in matte silver with a black interior. “Is to try out your new company car. This is a 2021 Sterling Argenta A, one of the many new toys I’m going to be debuting at the Expo. Catch!” Vic tossed the key fob to the black car to Dane before opening the Lambo style door to the silver one and getting into it. “I’ll take a warm-up lap to give you an idea of what these vehicles can do.” Victor designed the Argenta himself from the ground up so of course he personally test drove the prototypes but these were two of the first actual production models.

Firing up the silver Argenta the engine made it clear that it was mean as fuck. An 11 and a half liter V12 supercharged engine, 745 horsepower and the sleek, aerodynamic shape of the body made it the fastest production car in the world at least for now but Vic put on a pair of tinted black aviators and with a rev of the engine he opened it up and took off squealing tires and leaving skid marks and smoke as he took off. Outside of work and his knightly duties, cars were Price’s greatest passion and he absolutely loved driving fast and he was a damn good driver on and off the track - ironic as he was chauffeured to most Sterling events by Gibson. It didn’t take him long at all to get the Argenta to top speed and made full use of the immense horsepower and impressive handling. Once he finished his lap of the track he slowed down and came back around, pulling off the track into the middle before turning it off and getting out - with a big grin on his face. “Well, what do you think?”

Dane was enamored with all the fancy toys and the showy display of power and wealth. Dane saw everything. He saw most things and it seemed any rich guy genius in a suit of armor was very pleased with themselves. Dane saw the new vehicle and he couldn't help but smile at the design. "Jeeze...you uh how do you afford it all? I mean. there have to be billions in that small section alone."
