"I wouldn't doubt it," she grinned and nodded. "He attracts a special kind of trouble. Like some other people I could think of..." She wriggled her eyebrows at him and then took a sip of water, smirking. Was probably something about having powers or an ability, the universe tended to throw most stuff your way.
Whatever she'd think of would be memorable and fitting. And possibly feel guilty for and call it off at the last minute. It was hard to keep a head of steam against Luke. The waiter did the usual show and smell of the wine, as if they would be charged by the minute for his presence. It was good tasting wine, so maybe the fanfare did something to it. She took an other sip and smirked across the table to Luke. "Beer and Subways, now fine wine and steak. One helluva flat-warming party, Luke." She toasted him with the wine, grinning. "To being very good at being the good guy."
