Jessica looked around, plans for things wandering across the hallway and strangely appearing in his place hatching in her mind. For example, he didn't know yet how freaking cold the hallway got in the winter because their landlord kept the public areas a balmy 68, and that a rug would stop a draft at the front door. Nothing big.
She heard the water shut off and the thumps of footfalls wandering around. When he came out off the bathroom, shower-flushed and half dressed, well, when opportunity knocks. She lifted her eyebrows and looked him over, fighting a chuckle as she answered "I think I'm over-dressed for this party."
Once he finished buttoning up and fussing everything into place, she was very impressed at whoever tackled tailoring clothes for his form. They did some very fine work. "Yes you do Luke," she agreed and looked up to his face, grinning. "You're looking very sharp."
