"I didn't really have much choice." He sighed a little, then opened his shirt just enough to show her his normal suit, but with the black paint job. "Can't go around unprepared." No alien was going to burst out. There's only one thing he'd found that it didn't seem to like: noise. Lots of noise. So he'd had to steer clear of any churches today. Damn bells. Almost dropped him out of the sky once.
"Ah, that was a fun one." He smirked. "Remember the time I got Rhino to stick his horn in a wall? He couldn't get out for two hours." Her question did catch him a little off guard, though, as he continued on. "It's heavier, but it's increasing my physical abilities to make up for that. I mean...with the spider-strength, it's lighter than air anyway, but it's letting me do things I've never done before. Like the time I had to stop the subway from derailing. That thing almost tore me in half. Had to do it again today with the black suit, and it was like nothing. I jumped off the damn Chrysler building without so much as a gasp."
At that height, air was thinner. Even with his enhanced abilities, it had always been tough going over 70 stories, but that building...94 floors and he wasn't even winded.
