He wasn't budging on this no matter how much she threatened. Not long ago they had been going to have a family together, he cared for her...he loved her and he wasn't going to leave her falling over herself to get to a room in this dingy disgusting motel. He owed her more than that, so much more than that. Tired of waiting for her and realising this was going to be a fight, he shoved his free hand in his pocket and pulled out a bunch of crumpled bills and dropped a twenty onto the table. If that didn't cover it, they knew his room but he needed to get her out of there. Firmly, he started to guide her out of the room, ignoring the stares of the people around them though he doubted any of them cared enough to stand up to him for whatever they thought was going on.
