“I shouldn’t even be here.” But he was taking a chance and he really needed Natasha to knock it off and get to the point.
“Get to the point.” Did she really need to drag it on? Why couldn’t she just get to the point and tell him exactly what he needed to know. Not only that, why did she feel the need to keep up the snarky attitude. It was the same thing he dealt with the other day. When she finally started getting to the good parts, he listened. He wasn’t exactly sure why she felt the need to share her life story, but that’s exactly what she doing. And then apparently he became apart of it. He had no memory of anything that she spoke about. She could be lying. It wouldn’t be very hard to make up some story, but a tiny part of him thought otherwise or he wouldn’t have kept on listening to her.
“I - what am I supposed to do with all of this? I have no memory of these things. If they even happened.” This was a waste of time. He shouldn’t have called her. He moved away from her. “What I want is for you to leave me alone … before King decides to turn you into his next target.”
