Who: Piotr Rasputin and Open What: Breaking up fights and things are going from bad to worse. Where: A rather trendy club in NYC When: Monday, late evening Status: Incomplete Rating: TBD
Normally, this wasn't the kind of place that Piotr liked to go to. He really wasn't the kind of guy to keep up with the latest trends, or where the new 'hot spots' were when he made his way into New York City. Which in all honesty, wasn't as often as people might think. He was used to large cities by now, but if he was there for long periods of time he tended to feel a little claustrophobic. Too many people, too many buildings, too many cars, too many weird smells. But he tended to keep those thoughts to himself since he knew everyone was different like that. Either way, he'd just sort of stumbled onto this job. Moonlighting as a bouncer at this place had just kind of happened. He'd been down here the other night after stocking up on some art supplies and he'd broken up a fight outside of the club. Piotr hadn't really thought about it, he just saw something happening and he'd stepped in.
Well, one thing lead to another and the owner asked if he wanted a part-time job. Of course Piotr had to carefully negotiate this since he had to explain that his other job he could be called away at any time. He didn't like to play the 'I don't speak English well' card with people he didn't know, but it had been necessary at this point. Though, with this being his second actual night on the job, he was thinking that this wouldn't be a lasting thing. For one, he hated how everyone called him 'Boris' around here. His name was Piotr. He even told them to call him Peter. But, no. That and these people were odd. Really odd. He didn't understand how people could pay twenty dollars for one drink. Or listen to this ridiculous music all night. Normally, he would have left by now, but with a visit from his little sister coming up soon, he figured a few extra dollars in his pocket wouldn't be such a bad thing.
Piotr was making his way around the perimeter when he spotted a fight break out on the dance floor. He moved quickly to it and pulled the two scrawny men aside and started to drag them towards the exit. That's when he heard the screaming and he realized that the music stopped and there was a huge hole in the middle of the D.J. Booth. Whoever it was had been aiming for one of the guys he was dragging away and had missed. But one thing was clear...that was done by a mutant. He didn't quite transform yet, because he could be very guarded about that despite how durable he was when he shifted. But still, he let go of the two guys he was holding onto and started working his way through the crowed to try and figure out where it came from, and give them a piece of his mind in the process.
