Shale knew she had a lot to answer for here. Truly, she was sorry for the trouble and injuries she had caused. The logical part of her knew she belonged in this cell, which was why she wasn't trying to escape. With her psionic weapons, it would be difficult to keep her in. However, if she were to start making up for everything, this would have to be the start.
