"I do not think it will be problem for them to lay low. There is no place to get those things anywhere near vhere they live." he said sounding amused, but speaking the honest truth nonetheless. They might be able to find squid at the market, but usually, it wasn't so good if it came into town. Besides, the idea of his mother cooking something that wasn't in the usual rotation of things would probably freak a few people out. Or so he assumed that things were still working the same way as when he left. "So making sure heat stays on and average food on table, no problem." The mental image of someone trying to come and take Piotr in amused him. Everyone knew that he would have gone quietly, mostly quietly, but every once in a while it was a little more amusing to picture himself taking the all steeled out smashing buildings route instead. Maybe he'd sketch that out later as a joke.
"I vould like you to see you make that argument to Logan." he teased him a little bit at the innocent act. Honestly, he couldn't help but let out a loud laugh at Remy when he started to talk about his sister. "And her brother vould not have problem giving you a very close introduction to the heavy machinery either. No one messes with Illyana." his words coming off more jokingly than not. Piotr was in truth, very protective of his little sister, but being this far away from her sort of curbed it a little bit. "I vill be holding you to that." he said poking at the Cajun's shoulder gently a bit with his pretended to give him the 'protective face' but his eyes just didn't match up.
"Thank you. Really, I am not sure you understand how much I appreciate this." he decided to add in one more time, just in case.
