First blood in this duel went to her, again, but the captain didn’t fall that easily. She had to work quickly. Still too many of them left to handle if they all decided to attack her at once. Her soldiers wouldn’t last forever. She might have stood a chance against a duo with various pairings… but Shale was no match for the Hulk alone, let alone him and any combination of the group. Or if three came at her at once.
“YOU’RE NOT LEAVING THIS DESERT ALIVE!” she yelled back at him. The impact of the shield broke her concentration for a moment, shattering her construct. She knew attacking the shield directly would be useless. She created another construct, this time a longer sword. She slashed at the shield, purposely keeping it in a solid form. With his concentration on the sword, she went to sweep his legs out from under him. She gave a mighty yell as she went to stab him.
Just in time to be knocked over away by Mjolnir. She went some ways away from the fallen hero, and was dazed for a moment. However, she felt the rumblings of the sand. She hauled herself back to her feet before making sure to pull her mask over her eyes. If that rumbling was any indication, they’d be in for a sandstorm. Of course, it also could have just been the Hulk, sandstorms weren’t exactly a predictable thing… but this area was frequented by them. That was why Shale had chosen this spot.
