"Ach! Da!" Terry let out a clearly fake annoyed groan as she rubbed her face a little, but ended up not being able to keep it up for very long as she laughed. When the beers came over she looked at hers for a moment, a small pause wondering if she should really be drinking this. But then decided it was not only bad form to not accept a drink given, but that might actually allude to something else and she wasn't about to do that. No need to worry her father. So, in true (what she just assumed) Cassidy spirit she took a good long drink from her glass. "Thanks, hits the spot, yeah?" she said with a smile as she put down her glass.
Truth was, she didn't really blame her father for any part of their situation. Maybe, years down the line from now she might be able to see his hand in all of this, but right now she was more than content blaming her uncle for all of this. The fact that he was the one that'd told the lie and kept her hidden this whole time. That and she was still pissed about a lot of other things Tom did so she figured just throwing one more thing onto the pile wasn't going to hurt any. Terry could be a very loving individual but when crossed, it took people a very long time to get back into her good graces.
Terry rested her elbows on the table as she folded her hands together and listened to what her father was going to ask her. She couldn't help but lean forward a little bit and speak in a low voice. Years of having back-bar conversations about a job she was working on had just made it habit at this point more than anything. To which, that was one of the little talents and habits she'd picked up over the years that she didn't mind so much. "Nothin' more than rumors at this point." she started. "There's been some words thrown around, but even I have to admit the sources are...less than credible." She knew, rocks and and glass houses here, but honestly, she wasn't sure what to make of it at the moment.
"Have yah been hearin' anything?" she asked figuring if there was one person on Earth she could trust blindly, it had to be her dad.
