"Brill." she started trying to think geographically where Ohio might be in relation to, well, everything else. Terry was ninety-five percent sure that it was in the midwest though, so that was something. "Someone I used to know was from there." she started as a bit of an odd memory struck her. "He was always goin' on about Buckeyes, or something." she shrugged a bit and smiled playing it off as nothing. Because it really was nothing to her, she'd tried to understand and yet, she hadn't. Some things about American culture tended to escape her. Oh well, as far as Terry was concerned she was pretty sure that was a two way street.
It wasn't often in her life that Terry really had the blind confidence of someone that she didn't know too well. Usually, when working in a team it had been Tom telling them that "the kid" (meaning her) was more than capable of getting the job done. And if they didn't listen, well, Terry had never been all that adverse to letting out a sonic blast and shattering their ear drums. At least that was the way back then. "Thanks." she started, thankfully the tips of her ears were covered by her her bright red hair, otherwise John might have seen the rare occasion of them going red as well. People didn't compliment her, and it was an adjustment for her. A welcome one, but one nonetheless. "I'm certainly going to do my best." she said coming about as close as she ever would about being nervous about this whole thing.
"It feels weird being on this side of the law." she said after a moment, grinning a bit. "Having so many government sponsored teams...it feels a bit redundant, doesn't it?" though, she didn't seem too sure about this. "Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the job, but...I don't know." she shrugged. "It's just a bit new is all." she decided on.
