"Guess you're getting off on the right foot then." she said easily, glad that she wasn't bothering him. "Always nice not to be hassled by the M.P.'s." she said a bit thoughtfully, and perhaps a bit knowingly, though she really wasn't about to give up any details about why any sort of police made her a little bit nervous. At least not until she got to know people a lot better anyway. And that was assuming that she'd actually talk about it in the first place. Which, any more, had about a fifty/fifty shot of happening. Thankfully, she didn't let on as she strolled into his room behind him and hopped up on the desk, crossing on leg over another in a causal manner. Honestly, she didn't even think about it, just something she did. Terry was friendly like that.
"That's just it, isn't it?" she said with a bit of a smirk on her face. "It's a rather large place." Terry gave a small laugh at that. "I'll be the first to admit, I'm shite with directions sometimes." she held up one hand as if she were playfully confessing to something. "Got lost a few times this mornin' just trying to find the loo, er, bathroom." she said correcting herself a little bit. Hey, if that was the only ism that she slipped up on at the moment, she could live with it. At least she wasn't spouting off about getting "into the mill" (fighting) or "actin' the maggot" (being an idiot), resulting in odd looks.
"But other than that, guess it's alright. Defiantly not the worst place I've ever rested me head." she said getting back on track a little bit. "It is John, right?" she said after a moment, titling her head sideways a bit. By the looks of him, and everything she'd heard there'd be no mistaking who he was, and she had to admit, they were right. Not that it was a bad thing at all. She was really not complaining here. But, then again, if it's one thing living this life she'd learned, it was that you couldn't always be certain of anything. Besides, she'd already forgotten her manners and didn't do a proper welcome, so this would do nicely, she thought.
