The prisoner sat there and didn't say anything to Spiderwoman and had been looking at the floor until Iron Man spoke. "Your scanner must be obsolete. Getting stomped on by a goddamn super nazi was a good start. And Viper's serums leave the system within 48 hours. You'd think your boss would equip you with decent HUD mods or at least an onboard AI smarter than a toaster. Besides, trying to protect HIS Jericho missiles got me in this mess in the first damn place."
"Did it ever occur to you that I didn't want a bullet in my brain? I learned a lot from the way I fight. How to kill, how to disappear. And how to act. With my skillset I should have easily put holes in anyone I set my sights on. I purposely missed every single shot having HYDRA chalk it up to Cap's shield deflecting. I had to make it look convincing or your rescue op would have been a waste of your time. I duped those morons into thinking I was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and played on Von Strucker's infamous run like a bitch mentality. I was drugged into giving Helicarrier designs away, but the blueprints I gave them have a lot of fatal structural weaknesses that mean if they ever build one it'll exploded as soon as they activate it."
"I screwed them over big time. Before you stick me in the brig, at least look at all the ways I just dicked HYDRA. I was inches off from shooting Viper in the forehead. I missed and the Red Skull beat the shit outta me." The prisoner had just confirmed that Johann Schmidt was alive, foiling Skull's falsified death.
"And let's not forget that I kept Cap from getting shot in the back by a freaking railgun. I didn't ask to become a cheap knockoff of Captain America but it was either be a guinea pig or a corpse."
The soldier became quiet after that for the rest of the trip unless spoken to. He was completely disarmed and for the remainder of the trip he hung his head in shame.
