She scoffed at the scolding and admonishment. There was a reason she made sure to not be armed for this. "You want a spineless Yes-man in charge of the world's greatest covert and surveillance and up against the likes of HYDRA and space armies? That'll last long." Looking to the female voice, she shook her head. "On paper and a hundred miles away, I'm sure it made sense, but the point of our organization is to not have to rely on bombing ourselves back to the Stone Age with every threat. Rely on our own brains and resources first."
She considered just how to answer that opening and went for civil. "We were crippled and severely compromised. While I can't pull all our agents back from their missions until we close the leaks, there is going to be a massive shakedown of old commands and access in SHIELD starting now and scrubbing our system."
