She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "And you would have done a fine job, blowing up New York and then missing all of the other Skrulls put in places of power around the free nations. Or were you sending bombs to Geneva, London, Tokyo and Rome right after you were done with us?" She walked, looking at each screen in return like they were her agents caught messing around. "We have been rehabilitating and returning every one from colonels and generals, to ambassadors and major CEOs. The whole planet's security and infrastructure had be infested for months and you thought bombing us and destroying millions of the people we protect was the right call."
"And as for Fury, funny, you all came to me, saying he was killed, possibly MIA. And he's been waltzing around the world. Well done." She glared again. "So either you set me up to be your scapegoat because you saw this coming, or your so-called elite council couldn't keep track of a man with one eye and stuck in the nineties. I have him in custody yes, and he will not be moved until I say so, or he loses the ankle his bomb's strapped to."
"The Kree was one alien. Amazing job covering that first contact up, genius work." She waved her hand behind her, to the outside. "Even New Yorkers will notice a swarm of screaming alien warriors, Council. We have the Fantastic Four poking holes in space and time and the Avengers running around with gods and green roid rage even before this event."
