It pained her to hear him speak those words. Lorna had no place in his thoughts or heart. She left him behind for years, without a single word. She knew she had no right. Fully understanding how everyone felt uneasy with her return. She doesn't blame them from keeping her at a distance.
"I missed you..." Lorna flinched a little when he kissed her. Quickly draws back, resting her hands on his shoulders."Alex...please understand this. I'm only here with you to make sure you recovered. As for you and me, there is no you and me. I have dealt with my emotions for you ages ago, learned to let you go and move on." Lorna steps back, placing the clothes she brought for him in his arms.
After leaving her teammates and the mansion she found herself drifting from place to place. Fighting with her urges to follow in the foot steps of her father and siblings. Along the way she met Doyle. He saved her, took care of her and opened up her world to new possibilities. She learned to love another, knew she could never fully love him as much as she has loved Alex Summers. After Doyle died, she couldn't bare the thought of exposing her heart to another. Lorna knows she doesn't deserve to be cherished by Alex or anyone else.
"I'm here for you as a friend. I'll support you and stand by your side, as long as you need me."
