Who: Sue Storm and Open Where: Baxter Building What: Differing view points When: early enough to wake up most people Rating: Moderate, she's not happy
Sue was not happy. No one really was right now but she was the one up early and slamming things around as she made coffee and breakfast. Mostly she was making things so she had a reason to slam things around. With all this registration crap, things had been hectic, but this entire time, Reed had been locked in the lab. People were fighting, disappearing, and being rounded up. What she really hated was that it all pointed to Magneto being right. She didn't want that. She really didn't want that it was true, but it was looking like it! She was sure that soon they would be making mutants and meta humans were giant red Ms or something.
So fine, they were all dealing with it in their own way. Or so she thought. Imagine her surprise when she found out that what Reed had been doing was using his machines and computers to factor out the possibilities. Okay fine she could handle that. Then he finds out that his calculations say that no matter what, registration goes through. Okay not the best but then what does he do? Oh so logical Reed? He decides we should just agree to it.
Really?? Agree to it? Just because you know you'll lose you give up on what's right? She couldn't even wrap her head around that! Meanwhile he couldn't wrap his head around fighting for something, knowing you'd lose. She was pretty sure that was a double entendre of some sort but she wasn't going there. Neither was he and he locked himself back in the lab. So now she was making breakfast. Loudly. No way she needed five pans and skillet but they made satisfying sounds when they hit the counters and the stove. She was probably waking people up but she was more hoping to annoy the hell out of Reed more than anything.
