Sue shook her head at Ben. Maybe he should talk to Reed. They'd been friends for so long, maybe he could get through to him. Getting up to start the pancakes, she needed to get them on the plate now! She gave a quick kiss to the top of Ben's head. "You're sweet but we both know there's no way Aunt Petunia would ever lie and there's definitely no way my cooking competes."
She poured a few pancakes and put a hand on her hip as she watched them before flipping them. She had to admit she was impressed, Johnny typically wouldn't really worry so much about such things, just taking the lead the team did, and with a lot of flair. "You should try talking to him Ben, I'm just not getting through to him." She put the first few on a plate and set them in front of Ben then a couple more for Johnny. That would hold them as she finished the batch.
"I'm impressed Johnny, you don't usually take a major stand on things like this. Didn't think you even followed politics. Whatever happens, we should remain a team, but this is too big to just give up on. I might understand if he actually felt one way or another, but it's not about feelings."
