So busy venting and ranting in her own head she didn't actually hear Johnny enter. Pan in hand she whirled when he spoke and she sighed. Damn, she knew she'd wake him up, he was always out late, but now she actually felt bad about it. Staring at the pan in hand she put it down on the oven without slamming. Setting the ones she didn't need aside she turned it on and went to get a bowl to start mixing.
"Pancakes, got it. You know I have to make the whole box, Ben is going to be right behind and starving. Even if he is supposed to be resting." Huffing hair from her face she grabbed a dozen eggs and started on the batter.
"Reed." She bit off as if that was enough of an answer. Once the ingredients were in she grabbed the whisk and starting stirring. "Do you know what he's been doing in there all this time? Calculations. On whether this registration will pass. He came out only to let me know that according to all his mathematical figures, it's going to pass and so we, as a team, should support it! Simply because we will lose if we fight it, we should just roll over and let it happen! What happened to fighting for what was right regardless? What happened to the Reed Richards that didn't care if he made money or was popular but was going to follow through on what he felt was right?!"
She sighed and sat down setting the bowl down. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have woken you up I just, I can't do it Johnny, even before Ben I couldn't but now? I can't just, tell the world I agree with it when everything inside me is screaming at what a bad idea it is."
