Who: Kitty Pryde and Peter Wisdom Where: McLaren's Pub (City near the School) When: 7pm-ish What: Running into each others. Why: They need to? Open: No Rating: Moderate, he's a potty-mouth. So much was going down around her lately, not only literally but metaphorically- it was as if nothing was sacred anymore. Her Grandma had died last week and because she was a known Mutant she couldn't go down and mourn her. Then there was this Civil war thing that was happening then wasn't, and was just a whole lot of drama that no one wanted around not did they have the time or desire to want to deal with it all. Then today had been Alex Summers memorial, he has been a friend and Kitty was absolutely sick of losing her friends. Everyone was upset and out of sorts around the school with their own little dramas and with all the big things happening. Kitty needed an out, a temporary out where she could regroup and just calm down. So she'd gone and seen Storm, jsut to let her know where Kitty was going, she mightn't be a kid anymore but it was just a habit she couldn't break, it was always a relief to know someone knew where you were, just in case. She'd gotten dressed and headed out in her car. She drove into the town/city closest to the school and cruised the streets looking for somewhere to go.
She chose McLaren's Pub, not because she wanted to get absolutely drunk or anything, it just felt like the place for her to be tonight- a restaurant where she'd sit alone at a table and eat overpriced food just wasn't whats he was looking for; she preferred the idea of being in a dank, warm, dark pub where she could watch whatever game they put on, throw a few darts, have a little to drink- maybe some food and then be on her way; A faceless person in a similar environment.
She strutted in, maybe she should have dressed differently, but oh well- they could look but they weren't getting lucky form this lady tonight. She took a seat at the bar and looked up at the TV- some football game was on, good. She liked football, but didn't always have time to follow it. "Hi, I'll take a.. I dunno Vodka Sunrise? Little to no ice please" she ordered turning her attention to the menu, "A burger too please, no beetroot." The barman nodded at her and put her order in as he handed her her drink- orange juice, raspberry syrup and two shots of vodka.
Not a moment later she had a pursuer, "Look buddy, I'm not interested so leave me alone" she stated, not even looking at him until he touched her leg. Her eyes flared like a bush fire. "I said I'm not interested now leave me alone." Her eyes were narrowed and she actually looked scary so it was no surprise her high-tailed it and ran back to his mates who were all laughing obnoxiously loud. She returned to watching the game and waiting for her food; that's when she felt someone sit beside her, again- not even ten minutes in and she was already being pursued. She decided to simply ignore them, hopefully they'll get the message and go away. She looked down into her glass- it was already all gone! She had drunk that fast. She was trying to not look at whoever was beside her as she got the bartenders attention. "Lemonade please, and whatever this person wants as an enticement for them to go away."
