"Pot, meet kettle." She muttered with a small laugh. She wasn't so sure that anyone else would go boom, but she did know that there were few options for this thing on the planet. Somehow that didn't make her feel special, like she was better for it, just that they had not yet evolved as a species to handle something of this magnitude.
Jean hadn't exactly been sleeping, it was a form of relaxing and relaxing was not a good idea right now. Still, she was relaxing now. Lifting her head she kissed his jaw softly. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Everyone's is." With a stifled yawn she nuzzled against his cheek, she loved the roughness of it. "If I fall asleep, wake me up. I really don't want to spontaneously combust on the bed when someone is here."
