This was so not the conversation she wanted to have. Hell she hadn't been anywhere near the damn mansion or Stark towers for a reason! Couldn't he take a hint? Oh of course not, this was THE Tony Stark. Brilliant scientist, not so bright man. "Yeah well you have a reputation for getting attached when the sun goes down and forgetful when it comes back up. So what?"
That wasn't entirely fair but she was really hoping he'd just get pissed and leave already. As he headed towards her she narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. If he hit her so much the better. She'd hit him back and when he woke up, he'd stay away. If he even remembered his own name at that point. Except he didn't hit her, he grabbed her and yanked her close. Not even to shake the hell out of her! Instead, he kissed her. She stiffened and was ready to shove him away but was too slow. Damn but he was a good kisser. She couldn't even keep herself angry by reminding herself that he had a lot of practice.
By the time he pulled away she was a bit heady, but frowning. She couldn't look at him. Why didn't he have to bring this up? Why couldn't he just drop it? She needed to keep her hands busy right now, she couldn't just stay still and talk about this. So she started tossing dishes from one sink to another. Not for any reason other than to look busy. "In case you hadn't noticed, Tony, it really doesn't matter much how someone feels. About anything. Neither of us have the lives or time for much more than a one night stand."
