Adrian was astounded, she had already made a prototype for the phone despite her busy schedule. Cortez was back to full function, they had the family home fixed up and she'd been sick. "Stress relief I can provide" He kissed her happily and made what was becoming known at the Raccoon Face, shifty narrowed eyes and a feral grin that positively screamed 'I'm up to something! Mwahaha!'. He decided it was time to unveil the biggest surprise yet, the Arialair! Not to distract her from the subject of kids but he was excited and this surprise was a practical one for her grand idea.
"Sweety I have something I want you to see." Adrian went to the bookshelf and brought a large brass pyramid the size of his fist over to her and in his hands it started to change shape like the big cube from the Transformers movie until a highly sophisticated key was formed, the pinnacle of his own tech skills along with metalworking. "It responds only to our wedding bands. The lock is in the basement along the back wall and the key is the only way in."
He sat the key down and it reverted back into the sculpture almost immediately, he'd been working overtime on this. The enormous facility beyond the lock was totally set up with the most advanced tech in the world, mainly hers and other examples from a dozen different sources. Compared to their network of safe houses this was meant to be a veritable fortress.
When she opened the door there were brilliant white walls made of formed flexsteel, black floor of the same material with bright white mortar between the tiles. And in the main lab the letters AS were laser carved into the floor and filled in with blue enamel with interactive holographic displays ready whenever she was. He'd spent a hundred million dollars to build it and the flexsteel being pumped into the ground in molds ensured the building was never actually seen being built, the material hardened into it's current permanent form without so much as a crack in the ground above.
"Raccoon strikes again! Will this work for what you want to do?"
