It worked. She'd done it. She was tired as hell but at least Robbie was back. She was sure her bruises would have bruises but she didn't want him to worry about that. She'd heal. So would he. The important thing was that he was Robbie again. She'd been able to get through to him and stop all of this. Now she just had to get him back to the hotel. Or more accurately at this point, he'd have to get her there. "I do a lot of things I shouldn't do." She replied smartly, when he said she shouldn't have come after him. She was the only one who could come after him. She had to. She wasn't sure she'd be able to get through to him. She wasn't Gabe. But she'd had to try. What a birthday this had turned out to be. He'd helped her to her feet, but she was still a little unsteady. That had been a hell of a fight. But overall, she felt good about it. She'd gotten him back. "I'm alright." She told him. She wasn't, not completely, but she would be. She didn't want him to feel bad, and she could tell he did. It was bad enough all of the people that had been killed, but Carrot Top had actually hurt her. And Robbie probably wouldn't handle any of that well. But that wasn't something they should stand around here and talk about, particularly when people were still fighting. "We should go." She said. There would be no more fighting tonight for them. She was just so glad he was back to himself. And she'd do whatever she could to help him deal with what had just happened. |
