Daisy wasn't naive enough to believe that she was going to be able to stop this with one blow, but she hoped it would be enough to disorient him for a minute or so. Fighting him was complicated enough, but fighting him and fighting all of the others around her, that was even harder. She would have been grateful for the car thing, except that she was sure he hadn't exactly done it to help her. She was worried about exposure too. People were really going to freak out if they saw this scene. They were going to assume things. They didn't know that Carrot Top only took out the bad guys. And the last thing she wanted was to see something bad happen to Robbie because he couldn't control it. No, she was going to have to end this as soon as she could and get Robbie back safely. But first she had to deal with the Rider. And judging by the way he was swinging that big piece of...whatever it was, he wasn't going to make it easy on her. She jumped back out of the way, and then sent another blast at him, hoping to knock him off his feet again. She just wanted to end this quickly and get Robbie out of there before anyone from their hotel could see what was happening...and talk. "Robbie come on." She said, trying to reason with him. "We have to get out of here." The flaming car wouldn't hold the others off long and then they'd be fighting them and one another. Daisy did want to fight Robbie, or really the Other Guy either. But she couldn't let this continue. "We need to get back to the hotel." |
