Who: Sally Blevins, OPEN
Where: The Flamingo Lobby
When: June 27th, late night, early morning
What: Ah, you know, starting to slip into madness from hallucinating for two days straight
Warnings: Low
This place was huge but Sally had made it a mission for herself to learn about every square inch so that she would be prepared for anything that could be dropped on them. However, she would soon learn that this place could do things she never would have thought of before.
The petite mutant had been exploring The Flamingo when the poppies bloomed from nowhere. Their scent, their beauty, they drew her instantly. One inhale and Skids was done for. Her eyes had snapped open when she heard the bloodcurdling scream but her vision was not what it should have been, and that scream sounded all too familiar. Her eyes weren't adjusting well but she knew she had heard that scream before.
"Please Bill! Just leave!"
"Mom?" Sally muttered to herself as she blinked hard a few times to get her regular vision back. That's when she saw it, clear as day. Her father Bill yelling at the top of his lungs at a frightened Melinda Blevins, her mother. The scene was just as Sally remembered it, horrific and in such detail but the background was not her home it was some weird hypnotic sky with colors pulsing through each cloud. None of the extra stuff mattered, Skids was just focused on the sight before her from her past.
This was three days ago but Sally wouldn't know that, she had been seeing many strange and unexplained images before her eyes. Bugs crawling through her skin, voices from people she knew back in her world, begging pleading for her to return because they were so worried. The mutant woman was on the verge of a mental break from the scenes before her. Curled into a small ball in a corner with her shimmered force field around her for 'protection' she shook back and forth trying not to see or heard these poppies where showing her. The sights made it impossible to sleep, the dark circles and overall look of Sally screamed that she was about to completely fall off the deep end.
"Please.." Skids exhaled with all her strength, "Please someone..." Tears started dripping from her tired eyes as she curled around herself even tighter, her hands covered her ears to try and block the sounds while hiding her face in her knees to avoid seeing dragons breathing fire and destroying the building.
